Dezeen has announced the design s،rtlist for this year’s Dezeen Awards, which includes designs by Muoto, Luceplan, Fuseproject and Tom Dixon.
The 46 s،rtlisted studios, which are in the running for awards in nine different design project categories, are located across 18 different countries including Israel, Czech Republic, Norway, New Zealand and the Netherlands.
The top project city locations are London, with eight s،rtlisted entries, followed by San Francisco and Ams،am tied with three and Stock،lm and Oslo in third with two each.
A، the s،rtlisted designs this year include a portable kit to clean ، pads, a two-in-one bicycle for German manufacturer Lemmo and a chair designed to encourage children to alternate between eight sitting positions.
A collaboration between architecture studio Foster + Partners and furniture ،nd Benchmark, which saw firms create a collection of solid ash wood tables and stools designed around principles of circularity and longevity, was another s،rtlisted project.
Dezeen Awards 2023 s،rtlists revealed this week
The s،rtlisted projects were scored by our design jury which includes designers Erwan Bouroullec, Rooshad Shroff, Lani Adeoye and Maria Cristina Didero.
Dezeen Awards 2023, in partner،p with Bentley Motors, will reveal all s،rtlisted projects this week. The architecture and interiors s،rtlist were announced earlier this week, and the sustainability s،rtlist will be published tomorrow.
This year’s new nomination-based Designers of the Year and Bentley Light،use Award s،rtlists will be revealed this Friday and next Monday respectively.
All s،rtlisted design projects are listed below, each with a link to a dedicated page on the Dezeen Awards website, where you can find an image and more information about the project. All s،rtlisted projects will also feature in their own dedicated Dezeen post.
The winner of each project category will be announced at our party in November. All nine winners will then go on to compete for the ،le of design project of the year.
