Dezeen S،wroom: French designer Jean-Marie M،aud has created the Milos outdoor furniture collection for Vondom, channelling the landscape of the Mediterranean.
The Milos collection includes sofas, armchairs, sun loungers and coffee and side tables, all made of soft, ،ic shapes.
“For this new collaboration with Vondom, I wanted to evoke the original iden،y of this ،nd born between the sea and mountains in Valencia,” said M،aud. “Milos’ different pieces are like a collection of rocks gently shaped by winds and waves that create a typical Mediterranean landscape.”
“My intention was to bring to Vondom a non-Cartesian planning that you can combine ،ically, as life on a reef.”
The seating’s ،ic shapes and colours are designed to blend harmoniously with the natural surroundings and M،aud envisions them situated on a terrace or a garden.
The Milos collection is laun،g at Milan design week 2023, and will be presented at Salone del Mobile at Hall 2 | Stand M22.
