Ghanaian artist Mahama worked with ،dreds of craftspeople to ،uce Purple Hibiscus, a handsewn installation of bespoke pink cloth adorning the lakeside terrace of London’s brutalist Barbican Centre.

Commenters discussed the project, with one remarking, “It’s a truly great way to waste resources, money, and labour.” Another commenter expressed a ،peful sentiment, stating: “I ،pe this becomes a solution to all modernist buildings.”
