Meisterstück Oyo Duo bath by Stefan Diez for Kaldewei

Dezeen S،wroom: designer Stefan Diez\xa0worked with German bathroom ،nd Kaldewei to create the Meisterstück Oyo Duo bath, an elegant, freestanding steel enamel tub with room for two.

Diez and Kaldewei achieved an egg shape with the Meisterstück Oyo Duo – a shape that is hard to achieve in steel enamel.

The designer took inspiration from Japanese porcelain design for the exterior of the double-walled bathtub, aiming to communicate elegance, lightness and naturalness through the fluid form.

For the interior, Kaldewei applied its years of expertise to create a shape with ،mum laying comfort. It includes two symmetrical backrests and a central drain so as to comfortably accommodate two bathers.

"With this freestanding bathtub, Stefan Diez has created a graceful design sculpture that integrates harmoniously into the bathroom ،e, flowing and almost floating," said Kaldewei.

The Meisterstück Oyo Duo is available in nine colours from Kaldewei\'s Coordinated Colours Collection. It includes whites, greys, beige and even black.
